Seriously the 2020 gaming hype for Xbox vs. PlayStation is real since there is a rumor that there will be 2 versions of each console! This is the first time ever in gaming history that 2 versions would be released for both competing gaming companies. The rumor is that it will likely be a base version probably around 400 bucks. Then there will be a 600 version that is the premium powerful edition that is for serious gamers that want a high quality gaming experience. People are definitely willing to shell out their hard earned money for both versions depending on your individual needs. This serves a market for both since gamers vary across all ages and their gaming time can be casual or even hardcore.
Don’t believe the hype? You heard it from here first. That is of course if it is true 🙂 It’s fun to speculate and hope miracles can be pulled off. The fact of the matter is that is we are going through a pandemic that is slowing down production in all kinds of industries especially international releases such as gaming. The amount of prepare to launch a game on multiple platforms on the same day is brutal. We can’t image how difficult it is to launch consoles in multiple countries and be ready to handle language barriers, limited supplies of launch units and price conversions. This is the chaos that happens behind the scenes when us consumers pick up our shiny new box or in today’s times, or shall we say ship out our shiny new box to us. Having 2 Launch Consoles each ready for is certainly an ambitious debate. We are excited just as you are for this holiday release of new game consoles.
