Xbox Series X is a gaming PC with a console shell. This is the most noticeable it has ever been since previous console took after a flat horizontal form factor. This is shocking and it is a conversation starter. At the same time PCs are becoming more cool as everything now is run through or enhanced with computer technology. There are so many people that are not into gaming pc’s just because of the complexity to entry, but if you make a gaming pc looks and act like a console and is simple like a console, then casual gamers will find themselves getting into the mix. Microsoft is looking to showcase a console to bridge the gap of console gamers and pc gamers. Games that are bought an Xbox, have a good chance to be cross purchased on Windows PC. The Xbox Series X has a different edgey style that is going to stick out in your entertainment center. If the console looks high quality it will be attractive eye candy, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb. So far the Xbox Series X looks like a premium console.
For many years PC games have been able to be played with a Xbox or PS4 controller plugged into USB or with bluetooth connection connection. With this setup it’s easy to forget you’re a PC gamer since you been doing this all along or many console generations. Now throw in the mix that more and more games are become cross platform. Recently 1 major title, Call of Duty Modern Warfare has become cross platform. PC players can play multiplayer with Playstation and Xbox users. With this kind of community everyone wins. If your buddies have a different console worries, you can still play together. Basically consoles are PCs so everyone has gaming pcs!
