Here at Play’N’Swap, we are a big believer in using video games as educational tools. There is a new Wii U game out for kids that helps them learn their ABC’s while also improves their handwriting skills called Now I Know My ABC’s. It is a fun way to learn the alphabet and provides positive reinforcement for kids.
Here is a brief description of the game from the manufacturer’s website:
“Now I Know My ABC’s is a fun and interactive way to learn the alphabet. Using the Touch Screen on the Wii U™ GamePad your goal is to write every letter in both lowercase and uppercase. Each letter is associated with a color. You can press the letter’s icon at anytime to hear how the letter is pronounced. After you complete writing a letter the crowd cheers for you, giving positive reinforcement to help encourage the learning of even more letters!”
The game’s primary goal is to teach young kids the alphabet and have fun while doing so. The game is digital and can be downloaded on any Wii U platform. We highly recommend this educational game for toddlers as it is a great teaching tool for both parents and teachers.
You can download the this Alphabet video game from the Nintendo store.
