Batman Arkham Series is really a new pillar of accomplishment for superhero games. First of all the characters more photorealistic and more human-like that you’re used to in video games so it makes you feel like you’re the superhero in the story. The fighting dynamics really stepped up to make an epic brawl come to life with occasional slow motion moves to increase intensity and smart AI for you to strategize against so it’s up to you to dodge the enemies and take them out one by one. It makes it a blast to take on hordes of enemies with its kind of fighting system. Throughout the game you can get upgrades for your batman tech and it gives a new dimension to how you play the game. You must go through missions and figure out puzzles to get through to the next level. The game is dark and it should because that’s how the environments and archives should look and the characters are all so dark and scary themed. Then there’s cut-scenes throughout the game that we like and unravel you into the stories of the Batman Universe.
The dark grittiness of the Batman Arkham Series is really portrayed in this game with the attention to detail in environments and hordes of baddies that you have to manhandle. The Batman gaming series simply has an outstanding combat system. That sets the bar for super hero action based games. Batman is human so you need to work to mash through your enemies with assault tactics and planned take downs. Not to mention you need to rely on your batman tech and witness to solve puzzles in order to get to the next stage.
